Ernst Gruler

Gruler builds his own cradled wood panels that are textured and then painted with artist acrylics and water based metallic paint. His paintings are material and process driven. “Addition, subtraction, flood, flow, layer and draw are all aspects of my paintings as they come into acceptance of their finished form,” he says.
