Copacetic is an adjective that means “in good order.” Some consider it a slang word, best suited for informal use. Copacetic is a real word nonetheless, and it can be used instead of “fine,” especially if you are in a jazz club.
In the case of this little painting, it seems to operate as a mental reset. The alignment of a ghostly grid and the irregular floating circles upon a ground that is scratched and scraped somehow adds up to a sense of relief. Sometimes a painting is actually a talisman disguised as art. That might be the case with this one.
The painting is on a flat claybord panel, framed in a glossy white floater frame.
