Drip Stitch II

Blair Vaughn-Gruler

Part painting and part knitting project, this little piece foregrounds a rhythmic motion that speaks to textile work. Plus a few drips that reference paint – and gravity. Throw in an underpainting with tiny random drawings upon a well worked surface of variegated blues, and you have a satisfying effort in making the world a better place.
