Unravel

Blair Vaughn-Gruler

This is the first painting in a new series based on portraits of string. A visual metaphor for all we have been through, and how we can begin to make sense of it.

First step is to unravel the knots we have either become ensnarled within or tied ourselves into. Like a knot in your shoelace, loosen it up and give the string some space to breathe.
