Multitasking

Blair Vaughn-Gruler

Building on the series of paintings called Little Vitrine from 2021, which are mixed media (water media, oil pastels, markers and oil paint) on claybord, Mutlitasking is taking some of the tropes and snippets of language and repetition and moving them to a different scale, format and process. It is a softer and richer presentation of some of Blair’s fondest obsessions, with the challenges of translating scale and media, which are inherent in all varieties of juggling multiple tasks.
