Aquarium I

Sometimes process painting (in which layering processes is the goal more than a finished image) results in the viewer experience of peering “into” the painting. Like looking into an aquarium, where everything is floating  at different distances. So here you go – an aquarium of shapes, lines and drips.

The painting is 10 x 8, framed in a whitewashed floater frame to 11.5 x 9.5 x 2″.

Makes a nice set with Aquarium II.
