Blair Vaughn-Gruler

Ideology is the science of ideas; the study of their origin and nature. Similarly, non-objective painting describes itself as being based on concepts, as opposed to suggesting representational or narrative inspiration.

In the Ideology paintings, ideas mimic cursive and linguistic mark making, while floating and flying hither and tither, inviting your imagination to come along.
